W21C is a healthcare systems research and innovation initiative based in the University of Calgary’s O’Brien Institute for Public Health, and the Calgary Zone of Alberta Health Services (AHS).

W21C serves as a research and beta test-site for exemplary hospital design, novel approaches to health care delivery, human factors research, and innovative medical technologies.

The Calgary Innovation Coalition is a community-based organization accellerating local innovation in technology and knowledge-based businesses. Our vision is to build a healthy, inclusive, and globally recognized innovation ecosystem that supports thriving ventures.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
